This cooking club was created as the co-owner Alesha has a passion for getting children of all ages involved in all elements of kitchen and cooking. With a background in Scouting and being a paediatric nurse by trade, Alesha has developed a safe and fun approach to cooking and kitchen skills. All sessions include arts and crafts and outdoor time in line with our OFSTED registration and government guidelines. We believe children should lead their learning and are involved in our weekly planning. We have 2 types of holiday activity & cooking clubs The Young Cook for children aged 6-11 years old and The Junior Chef for young people aged 12-16 years old. We also have the following Cooking Club - weekly term time sessions Zoom classes - individual and group sessions All our programmes are designed with the children at the centre. We provide badges and certificates for achievements which give children confidence in food and being in the kitchen. At Ackeee Tree we want to be able to provide Caribbean food at your home if you're too busy to cook, want to throw a dinner party or the best event of the century. Children's Club We agreed with footballer Marcus Rashford CBE who campaigned to ensure children were still able to access food whilst away from school in lockdown. We have now partnered with different London boroughs to provide children with a fun activity and food programme during the Easter, Summer and Christmas periods. Important Information This page holds important information regarding booking our services and our qualifications held. Scroll down for further information. Ackeee Tree Terms and Conditions To ensure a confirmed date for your event and to avoid any disappointments, we kindly request a £50 date holding fee. Please note that spaces cannot be held without this payment. The date holding fee will be deducted from your final balance. However, it is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your event 7 days or less prior to the scheduled date. We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly in today's world. If you need to change your event date, we will do our best to accommodate your request, based on space availability. Kindly provide us with a minimum of 72 hours' notice for any date changes. Once you are satisfied with your booking details, we kindly request a 30% payment of your total balance (less booking fee if applicable). The remaining 70% is required three weeks before the event. However, if you have made a booking within two weeks of the event, the full balance must be paid at the time of booking. We offer multiple payment options, including bank transfers, card payments, and cash.
